Peer and Family

Goal:

Engage in:
- Design efforts of the hospital,
- Discussions on future use of the campus, and
- Ensuring a continuum of care based on person-first principles and practices.
The Peer & Family Work Group is tasked with engaging individuals and families in the Austin State Hospital service area to obtain input and feedback to the plan as it develops.
The Work Group is entrusted with ensuring peer and family support organizations within the region are engaged, ensuring input from those with lived experience into the new care models.
